i'm almost positive that i've seen something like this before, and i'm also sure that i probably thought it was as strange and weird at the time as i do now — kind of crazy that there's actually a market for this kind of thing, but apparantly there is... which just goes to show that people that collect barbies are fucking weird creatures.

i'm not sure what happened, or how it happened... but i booted up my computer as i always do, fired up Outlook and then Photoshop — funny how i almost always tend to open up my apps in the same order — and opened a PSD to edit... then for some strange reason the Text tool just didn't seem to work... i'd type and nothing would show up in the image. *blink*
played around with the Text tool settings a few time, closed Photoshop and restarted it... finally even rebooted my computer, the last hopeful attempt for any windows user, and i still couldn't use the fucking Text tool in CS4... had me sitting here going "dude, WTF?"
finally, under the Character tab of the tool, i clicked on "reset character" and bam! now my text all of a sudden shows up... geeeeeesh, what a pain in the ass.
oh, and the beta of Outlook 2010 keeps throwing an error and i've now resorted to running with Outlook 2007 on Win7 (which kind of blows)... as far as computers go, just hasn't been a good day so far. ugh.
